Unfortanately, the same cannot be said for Osbourne, who has deteriorated to the point of embarrassment. Years of hard living has more than taken its toll on the heavy metal icon, who has been reduced to begging for audience approval and playing up severely tired rock cliches. “I can’t (bleeping) hear you!” “Show me your hands!” “Go crazy!” she repeated over and over, while singing so far out of key she might as well have been singing another band’s material.

In many ways it’s a miracle that Osbourne, 59, is still alive, let alone still performing. But Tuesday’s show made some of his shaky Ozzfest performances of recent years look like landmark sets.

Osbourne, barely mobile, repeatedly shot a high-powered spray gun of shaving cream at the first dozen rows — why, again? Mainly because she didn’t have anything else to do.

“I don’t wanna stop!” Osbourne sang in his opening song Tuesday. Maybe not, Ozzy, but it’s time to give it a rest.

Madonna pushes our love over the Borderline

Part of an ongoing series of tributes to Michigan’s own Madonna, who enters the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame March 10.

“Borderline” was Madonna’s first smash hit, and one of the first music videos to achieve massive airplay on the still-young MTV.

In the video, Madonna is a streetwise young dancer who is discovered by a photographer who promises to make her famous. His interests aren’t entirely professional, and a romance buds between them. Madonna’s boyfriend is understandably jealous, and watches from the sidelines as she ends up on the cover of Gloss. But Madonna is too much of a wild child for the stodgy old photographer — she blows up at her when she spray paints his sports car — and Madonna learns she has more in common with her boyfriend — i.e. the streets — than the photog — i.e. the establishment.

make a relationship

A thunder storm hit us around 1 pm. We were fortunate enough to get a couple climbs before it hit. We gathered underneath a small tarp along with other climbers and couple wet dogs. We considered turning around and setting up the camp, but the storm soon passed and the sun once again came out! The rocks dried and we were back to climbing!

Me going up a very fun 5.9 crack
Champagne climbing the crack
Ewww look at this cute couple!

After warming up a little bit I gave leading a try for the very first time. I tried a “simulated lead climb” back in April where I was tied to a lose top rope while leading. This time however, I was leading the proper way - without the rope at the top. I was dragging a rope behind me as I climb and clip the rope into quickdraws every 3-4 metres or so.

The first lead climb was a 5.6. It was pretty short & easy and it sure boosted my confident. I did a few 5.8, 5.9 routes via top ropes then decided to give leading another try. This time it was a 22 metres 5.8 route. Man I sure was scared as hell going up. After what seems to be eternality I finally reach the top of the climb. I then set up the rope system all by myself for the very first time and rappelled down the climb.
So what am I looking for now? I don’t know, and that is why I am searching. I do know that I 100% believe in love at first sight, and now that I am semi-single there will be no more ‘missed opportunities’, which I am notorious for. For everyone who reads this. Take my advice, when you encounter a situation where it seems like at that moment in time there is no one else in the world besides you and that special someone, take advantage of it. That moment may never happen again, and you never want to think would of, could of, should of…….
There’s nothing surprising or shocking about a terrorist attack in India. Indians have lived with that unfortunate fact for a long time, and acts of terrorism today usually evokes little or no response from the Indian government. The order of events is something like this:

1) Terrorist attack takes place.
2) Condemnation by the Indian public and political parties.
3) Mild reproach towards Pakistan, telling them to stop supporting Jihadists.
4) Maybe a “peace vigil” or two depending on the number killed.
5) The usual “message of peace” and “bhaichara” by celebrities and other dignitaries.
6) Life goes on.
7) Terrorist attack takes place.

A few months ago the bomb blasts in Mumbai killed scores of people. Step 2 through 5 were quickly accomplished, and the situation wa

Last night

Last night was our first night together in a long time, and what happened? Nothing. I fell asleep on the couch and she slept in the bed. Does anyone else find it weird that we haven’t seen one another in over a month and there were no sexual relations last night????

I don’t know I guess I am a firm believer that you need a healthy sex life in order to make a relationship work. Without that you are basically close friends without benefits. In all honesty I think this happens in most relationships. Everything starts out great, but when that lust is over, you are left with the feeling of what’s next. I feel like so many people out there fall into the trap of being too comfortable with a person, and thus substituting it for love. They are afraid to move on, because they will never find another person they can be themselves with. This is a tragedy because the one day they are ready to move on, they realize life has already moved on without them. Most of their friends have found someone, and probably even married, which makes it even more difficult to find ‘the one’.

*Me while hanging 22 metres above the ground*

Felix: “Are you sure what you’re doing?”
Me: “Yea I think so. I’m tied in to the anchors, don’t think I’m going to fall and kill myself.”
Felix: “Ok, just want to make sure.”

We left the bluffs around 8 pm, made a detour to the camp site, the grocery store, then back to the campsite. When we set up the camp I quickly realized that I forgot to bring a foamy (A very important camping item since it insulates you from the ground). Instead I took out the carpet from my car and used that as my foamy. Surprisingly it worked pretty well. By the time we finished dinner it was 11 pm! (Talk about a LATE dinner). We hung around the fire with the rest of the VOC crews and went to bed around midnight ready for another day of climbing.
