Det offisielle språket er bengali, mens engelsk er det annen språket og er bredt benyttet i undervisning og i forretningsverdenen.

Økonomi

I Bangladesh er det nominelle GNI per capita i $ steget fra 380 i 2000 til 400 i 2003. Til sammenligning er tallene for Danmark henholdsvis 31.450 og 33.570.

Bangladesh har, siden det ble uavhengig, taket atskillige tiltak innenfor den økonomiske sektoren og følger en liberal markedsøkonomi. På det politiske området forsøker man å tiltrekke utenlandske investeringer ved å gi de utenlandske investorene en rekke fordeler, blant annet fordelaktige skattefradrag. Som utenlandsk investor kan man blant annet etablere 100 % utenlandsk eide selskap og et joint venture med en lokal privat partner eller med en partner fra den offentlige sektoren.

Divisjonene er undersinndelt i distrikt ( zila ). Det er 64 distrikker i Bangladesh, som hvert er underinndelt i upazila (underdistrikt) eller thana (politistationer ).

But after a year and a half of work experience, I’d already realized that you must, must do in this life what really, truly excites you. Yeah, we all hear that, but rarely does it sink in, at least fully. I thought that the dot-com era excited me, and it did in many ways, but in reality I was swept up in this incredible wave of frenzied, IPO-seeking, “I’m going to make a million before 25″ mania. I liked the way it was changing the world. But in too many ways I felt like I was selling my soul by participating. I want my end product to matter. I don’t want to make money just to make money. In other words, I want to do more than just shuffle bits. I want to save lives.
Variety is reporting that “After an exhaustive search, NBC has chosen British actress Michelle Ryan for the lead role of Jamie Sommers in its upcoming Bionic Woman pilot. The network reported considered better-known stars, but ultimately went with someone who’ll be a newcomer to most American viewers. Big Words

I’m just a normal guy. So, if you post a description of yourself in the company facebook archive, try to keep it simple. If I have to check out Wikipedia to find out that a “pescatarian” doesn’t eat land animals, I don’t feel enlightened, further educated, or hopeful for social justice. I feel like eating a cheeseburger. This means you, new girl in the DC office.

I recently discovered a great website called WidgetBox that hosts 1,000s’s of widgets that you can add to your blog. You can also take your own blog feed and turn it into a widget! While I’m spending all this time working on widgets, here’s what I’m listening to:
But… why the delay? I mean, that was nearly five years ago. Well, life intervened. First of all, I had to go back and take classes. Then I had to take the MCAT (Medical College Admision Test). Then a tragic family event occurred. This delayed my application by two more years. So here I am now, ready and raring to go after waiting for this for a long time.

IS THIS CANADA YEAR FOR LORD STANLEY?
It has been so long, since a Canadian National Hockey League (NHL) team. has won the Stanley cup, it has been fourteen years to be exact, in which the Montreal Canadians won the Stanley cup in the 1992-93 season.
The past two NHL season, three years to be exact due to the lockout of the 04-05 NHL season. It has been a close call for the teams north of the boarder in the country of Canada. Just last season alone the Edmonton Oilers had a nice run and force a game seven, before losing the cup to the Carolina Hurricanes. The season before the lockout of 03- 04, the Calgary Flames seem to have everything going for them. Before that powerful lighting strike, that hit the saddle dome in overtime during game 6.
In which Martin St. Louis, scored the game winning goal. that would send the series back to the sunshine state of Florida, for a game seven, in what would turn out to be a the first Stanley Cup in history for the Tampa Bay Lighting.
This year it could be different, and in what better closing of this NHL season would turn out to be if that first Stanley cup team since the Montreal Canadians won it in the 92-93 season. That it would be a team from Canada national capital of Ottawa and it would also be the first Stanley cup in the team history of the senators.
Canada lord Stanley is calling, this will be the third time in a row, a Canadians team has played for Lord Stanley is this the year? I think so, but like always, time will only tell and that is what has Canada on the edge of its seats waiting for that call from Lord Stanley.
